activities for the young at heart
All sorts of youth and kids activities happen at Carreg Llwyd throughout the week. Below you will find details of our regular activities.

Sticky Fingers has become a well attended group for toddlers and their carers, meeting each Friday between 10:00-11:30am.
It is fun packed, with activites including free play, an organised activity based on a termly topic, and a song time.
The morning provides an opportunity for children to play within a mixed age group, learning and developing new skills.

The 3-11 year olds have their own meetings from about 11.10am until the end of the service. There are about 30 children that come regularly and we meet in 4 different age groups, in different rooms within the church. Our time is a time of learning more about God in a fun way, establishing friendships, making things, talking about anything that is important to us, doing games etc. We use the Children's Ministry materials, which are topically based and run on a 4 year cycle.
Throughout the year we organise different events; last October we held a 'day of workshops'; we all stayed for lunch after the service one Sunday, and in the afternoon we held a number of different workshops, out of which the children could choose 3 each. The choices included: cooking, woodwork, dance, drama, two or three different craft activities. Around Christmas we have a party and/or an outing. In the summer we organise a picnic and a swim.
When possible we visit a local nursing home and hold our class there with 'audience participation'. Each class would do this once a year.
We welcome new children any time!

We believe in God the one and only Creator of the universe and His son Jesus, who through His death and resurrection can make us right with God. We exist to worship Him through everything we say, we do and we are, and to make His Name known in the universe!
Carreg Llwyd youth leaders are passionate about
- Discipling young people as followers of Christ.
- Enabling young people to worship God in service and ministry, as well as inspiring them to be excited about sharing their faith with others.
- Equipping and releasing young people into service both here and elsewhere. A core value of our work is training young people in leadership and service.
- Providing safe environments and opportunities that enable young people to grow as whole people.
